Terms of Service

Welcome to Quadra. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Quadra mobile application ("the App"), published by an individual developer. By creating an account or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Please read these Terms carefully. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Quadra, you confirm that:

• You have read, understood, and agree to these Terms.
• You agree to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
• You meet the eligibility requirements described in Section 2.

2. Eligibility

2.1 Age Requirement

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account and use Quadra.

2.2 Account Responsibility

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. Account Registration

3.1 Sign-In Method

Quadra uses Single Sign-On (SSO) exclusively. You may create an account using:

• Google Sign-In
• Apple Sign-In

3.2 One Account Per Person

Each person may maintain only one Quadra account. Creating multiple accounts to manipulate rankings or circumvent bans is prohibited.

3.3 Profile Accuracy

You agree to provide accurate information in your profile, including your skill level and location. Misrepresenting your skill level is a violation of these Terms.

4. User Conduct

4.1 General Expectations

Quadra is a community built on sportsmanship and respect. You agree to treat all users with courtesy.

4.2 Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

1. Harass, bully, threaten, or direct hate speech toward any user.
2. Create fake profiles or impersonate other people.
3. Intentionally manipulate match results or rankings (match fixing).
4. Create fake accounts to artificially alter Elo ratings.
5. Post spam, advertisements, or unsolicited commercial content.
6. Discriminate against users based on race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, or disability.
7. Post sexually explicit, violent, or illegal content.
8. Attempt to exploit bugs or reverse-engineer the App.
9. Report false match scores or refuse to confirm legitimate results in bad faith.
10. Use information from Quadra to harass users outside the App.

4.3 Enforcement

Violations may result in warnings, temporary suspension, or permanent termination of your account.

5. Match System and Rankings

5.1 Elo Rating System

Quadra uses an Elo-based rating system to rank players. Ratings change based on match results, opponent rating, and score margin.

5.2 Score Reporting and Confirmation

• After playing, either player may report the match score.
• The opponent has 24 hours to confirm or dispute the score.
• If no response is received within 24 hours, the score is automatically confirmed.
• If disputed and no agreement is reached within 48 hours, the match is voided.

5.3 Fair Play

All matches must be played genuinely. Arranged or fabricated results are prohibited.

6. Clubs and Community

6.1 Club Creation

Any user can create a club. The creator becomes the club owner and is responsible for moderating content and members.

6.2 Club Owner Responsibilities

Club owners must maintain a respectful environment and remove members who violate these Terms.

7. Content

7.1 User-Generated Content

You may post photos, comments, and match results. You retain ownership of the content you create.

7.2 License to Quadra

By posting content, you grant Quadra a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content within the App.

7.3 Content Removal

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or is reported as inappropriate.

8. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, branding, and graphics, is the intellectual property of Quadra's developer. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App without permission.

9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

9.1 App Provided "As Is"

Quadra is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties regarding the App's availability or reliability.

9.2 No Guarantee of Matches

We do not guarantee that you will find match partners or that matches will take place.

9.3 Physical Activity Disclaimer

Racket sports carry inherent risks of injury. You participate at your own risk. We are not responsible for injuries or accidents.

9.4 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Quadra's total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid to use the App (which is zero, as the App is free).

10. Termination

10.1 Termination by You

You may delete your account at any time through the profile settings. Your data will be removed within 30 days.

10.2 Termination by Us

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or harm the community.

11. Governing Law

11.1 For Users in the United States

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida.

11.2 For Users in Brazil

These Terms are governed by Brazilian law, including the Código de Defesa do Consumidor (CDC), Marco Civil da Internet, and LGPD.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes, we will notify you at least 15 days before the changes take effect.
